A man haunted by a murder journeys to a desert island to escape, and there he finds the treasure of forgiveness and peace through God.
No one should be put off a boat, alone, on a desert island -- especially this one: No one ever went to the Isle of Cats. But here we were, with night all around us and the storm raging. If we did not find shelter soon, the lighting would strike us dead; the rain and rising tide would drown us. And it was cold. At the very least, we would catch our death from that.
And then, lurking about in the dunes, were the cats--large, misshapen, hungry. Eyeing us.
"Whatever you do, stay away from the house. Don't you go near that house," the boatman had told us. And we told him we wouldn't.
But what choice did we have? We saw a light.
Did anyone really have a choice?
